Bangkok → is a jumble of fun, it’s the contradictions that give the City of Angels its rich, multifaceted personality. Here, climate-controlled megamalls sit side-by-side with 200-year-old village homes; gold-spired Buddhist temples share space with neon-lit strips of sleaze. But for adventurous foodies who don’t need white tablecloths, there’s probably no better dining destination in the world than Bangkok. And with immigration bringing every regional Thai and international cuisine to the capital, it’s also a truly diverse experience.

Experience the real Bangkok. Let a local expert handle the planning for you.

Chiang Mai → Thailand’s northern capital is an escape from the whirlwind pace of life of its southern rival. Despite the constant arrival of planes and trains full of sightseers, the former seat of the Lanna kingdom is still amazingly calm and laid-back. This is a place to relax after the chaos of Bangkok and recharge your batteries with fabulous food and leisurely wandering. If you don’t want to participate in the vast array of activities on offer, just stroll around the backstreets, and discover a city that is still firmly Thai in its aspect, atmosphere, and attitude.

Phuket → Is dramatic karst islands and relaxed beaches, the island’s affinity for luxury far outshines its other stereotypes. Jet-setters swing through in droves, getting pummelled during swanky spa sessions and sipping sundowners at fashion-forward nightspots or on rented yachts. And you don’t have to be an heiress to tap into Phuket’s style-packed to-do list. With deep-sea diving, high-end dining, luxury shopping, fabulous white beaches and some of Thailand’s swankiest hotels at your fingertips, you might forget to leave.

Krabi → Is a gateway to the Andaman Island. Bustling Krabi Town is majestically situated among impossibly angular limestone karsts jutting from the mangroves, but mid-city you’re more likely to be awe-struck by the sheer volume of guesthouses, travel agencies and building work packed into this quirky, compact town. It’s a key transport hub, around which a busy traveller scene continues to evolve.

Ko Samui & the Lower Gulf → Ko Samui, Ko Pha-Ngan and Ko Tao together with Ko Tao are the brilliant islands that magnetize million of tourists every year. High-end resorts, alluring beaches and a luxury holiday will be only few primary legacy of the Koh Samui and the lower gulf. The mainland coast beyond the islands sees few foreign visitors, but is more authentic Thailand and in many ways more culturally enjoyable for that. From the pink dolphins and waterfalls of sleepy Ao Khanom to the Thai Muslim flavours of beach strolling Songkhla, this region will convince any naysayer that Thailand still holds a bevy of off-the-beaten-track wonders.

Chiang Rai→ Chiang Rai, Thailand’s northernmost province, has a bit of everything: the mountains in the far east are among the most dramatic in the country, the lowland Mekong River flood-plains to the northeast are not unlike those one would find much further south in Isan, and the province shares borders with Myanmar and Laos. In terms of people, it’s also among Thailand’s most ethnically diverse provinces and is home to a significant minority of hill tribes, Shan and other Thai groups, and more recent Chinese immigrants.

When to go and weather thailand seasons

Best time to visit

Thailand has a warm tropical climate high in both temperature and humidity. The best time for Thailand tours is the cool season from November to end of February during which the maximum temperature is 30-35°C / 85-95°F and the humidity is at its lowest between 50% – 60%. It is also the season for several major Thai festivals like the Loi Krathong.

The summers (March till May) are very hot with temperatures soaring well over 40°C/105°F. It is perfect for a visit to the northern provinces, but North-Eastern and Central Thailand tours are best avoided during this period.

The monsoons arrive in June and this season continues till the end of October (probably the wettest month).

The rainy season is considered to be the best time to visit the islands in the south. July and August are often referred to as being the second peak season after winter (November till February end).

The least popular months for Thailand tours are April to June and September to October.

Friendly and fun-loving, cultured and historic, Thailand radiates a golden hue, from its glittering temples and tropical beaches through to the ever-comforting Thai smile.
