Transfer to your hotel in town, check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight rest from your flight. Your hotel is located conveniently atthe heart of the town within walking distances to night market and the all the popular promenade sidewalk with outdoor stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. Your full day city tour begins after breakfast, with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. We then enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple and the magnificent Wat Xieng thong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. Today, we also visit the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures before we head out of town to see the weaving villages of Ban Xiengkhong and Ban Xienglek before we return to the city to visit to Wat Mai. We then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. The tour ends after a visit to the famous Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by local and hill tribe people surrounding town. Overnight in Luang Prabang

After breakfast, we head through to a local farm to experience how the locals live. The farmers will show you how to grow rice, steer a buffalo and grow organic vegetables. You can give some of the activities a go yourself or watch the farmers work from a farm house balcony. Your lunch will be served in the farm house from produce grown right there. Depending on the time of year you may even help catch a few fish and harvest your own organic vegetables for lunch. (Note: Rice farm activities are depending on season). After lunch we return to Luang Prabang to relax and overnight stay

After breakfast we’ll visit the best sites in the city including the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of ThatLuang Stupa, we stop on route to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.

In the afternoon we head to Buddha Park, a scattered enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures on the Mekong Riverside meadow, close to the Friendship Bridge. There are approximately 200 religious images dating back over 500 years, which were created by a mysterious monk spreading his philosophy on life and revealing his ideas about the universe. A spectacular view of over the Mekong River at sunset is a perfect way to finish the day. Overnight in Vientiane
