Welcome to Vietnam, upon your arrival at Hanoi airport look for our driver who will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name. The journey from the airport to your hotel will take approximately forty-five minutes and is an entertaining experience full of chaotic traffic, distinctive architecture and overloaded motorbikes. Arrival Hanoi, check in and relax.
The capital city of Vietnam perfectly blends the different cultures from past rulers into one energized city. With strong French and Chinese influences Hanoi oozes character.
Hanoi can be a shock to the senses when arriving for the first time. The roads are heaving with honking motorbikes, street vendors wander around yelling out what they have for sale and the air is filled with hundreds of different smells as life is lived on the footpath. Just try to take it easy and go with the flow.The best way is not to rush your visit to Hanoi as Hanoi will find you.
Depart at 8:30am from your hotel. We will begin our day by visiting Uncle Ho, learning about his great life at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, and his residential place (N.B. Closed on Mondays & Fridays), visit Tran Quoc Pagoda. Next stop is the nearby Temple of Literature. The site of Vietnam’s first University, built in twelfth century, to teach the royals the Confucius theory. Here we will also have a chance to see a traditional music performance, if available. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Museum of Ethnology. Back to Hanoi Old Quarter then you will take an electric cart tour around the labyrinth of streets in the Old Quarter, where each of the 36 streets is named after a product once sold exclusively in that street 100 years ago. Overnight in Hanoi
Today you are off to the beautiful Halong Bay. You will be required to check out your hotel room but you can leave your luggage in storage as you only require essentials for a one-night stay on board the Halong Bay Overnight Cruise.
8.00 – 12.00 Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong City through the paddy fields inthe Red River Delta
Stopover at Hai Duong province for refreshment about 20 – 30 minutes
12.00 – 13.00 Arrive in Tuan Chau Wharf and transfer to teh boat
13.00 – 15.30 Check in and enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise brief and safety instruction by crew member and Cruise Manager Start cruising. Enjoy set menu lunch while cruising to magnificent Halong Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay, admire the fascinating formations on the way. You will have opportunity to see the famous such as: Perfume Rock, Fighting Cock, Lonely Rock, Saddle Rock…. before arrives to “Vung Viêng” village.
15.30 – 17.30 Visit “VungViêng” village by a rustic – row boat, meet the local people who will help you row the boat for sightseeing. Enjoy quiet space and fresh air, you will feel truly relaxing.
Free optional swimming and kayaking around many small and big islands at emerald Bai Tu Long water.
17.30 – 19.30 Back to the boat and free time for relaxing
Cooking class on sundeck – How to make Vietnamese spring rolls. Then enjoy the spring rolls you make together and Happy Hour (buy one drink, get one free). It is time for chatting and relaxing.
19.30 – 23.00 Deluxe Vietnamese Dinner will be served
Evening activities include: Leisure time for chatting around the bar, watching many sorts of Vietnam cultural films. Relaxing and spending a romantic night on Glory Legend Cruises’ music. Reading magazines in room and dining room. Passengers may also try their luck with squid fishing on the boat
06.00 – 09.00 Taking part in Tai Chi class on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes)Coffee, tea and pastries… for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape. Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Return to the boat by tender. Proper shoes are highly recommended.
09.00 – 11.30 Check out and make payment in reception area
Have a set menu brunch while cruising back to the Tuan Chau Wharf. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery as approaching the wharf.
11.30 Transfer by tender to Tuan Chau Wharf. Say goodbye to the crew
12.00 – 16.30 Return from Halong to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Stop over the middle to visit a traditional workshop
16.30 Arrive in Hanoi. You will be pick up on the way back then transferred to airport for a short flight to Hue. Arrive and check in at hotel
8.30am our guide will meet you at your hotel and introduce you to our highly skilled and qualified drivers who are sensitive to tentative pillion passengers and will travel at a gentle pace of 40km and less. After a safety briefing your adventure begins.During the tour you will ride through little laneways, beside canals and through local markets, visit a king’s tomb, pagoda and local handicrafts. Lunch is a delicious traditional Buddhist banquet served at a pagoda. This is a truly action packed day of scenery, history, culture and cuisine. End at 13.00 pm
08:30pm our driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to Hoi An, You will stop at Marble Mountain, China beach and drive over Hai Van pass. Arrival Hoi An at 18.00pm, check in hotel and relax
The ancient ruins of My Son from the Kingdom of Champa are 50km west of Hoi An. The temples were constructed between the 4th and 14th centuries by the kings of Champa and are dedicated to the worship of the god Shiva.
The VC used My Son as a key base, which forced US bombing of the site leaving about 20 of the 70 structures intact. A major restoration project is underway.
In 1999 it was named a UNESCO World Heritage site.
After an hour’s drive to My Son you can spend 2 hours discovering the peaceful beauty of curious structures of the Cham minority.

This afternoon, we continue to do a walking tour, known as Faifo to early Western traders, Hoi An was one of the major trading centres in South East Asia between the 16th & 17th centuries. A charming 16th century merchant town, with strong Japanese and Chinese influences, Hoi An is best explored on foot. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved architecture, it is also a thriving centre of traditional handicrafts. Wander through the cobbled streets, past low tile-roofed buildings, the bustling central market and the small harbour where colorfully painted boats are moored. Your walking tour will include pass over the tailor for order some products as your request, visits to a private house where members of the same family have lived continuously for centuries in a traditional setting to one of the family chapels built by prominent merchant or official families as centers for ancestor worship. Continue to Sa Huynh Museum which contains exhibitions from the earliest period of Hoi An’s history. Finally, continue to the famous Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda, first constructed in 1593 by the Japanese community of Hoi An to link the town with the Chinese quarters across the stream. Back to hotel and relax.
The tour starts by cycling along level ground to the Thu Bon River to visit a local fishing village.
Ride along country lanes at a peaceful pace viewing local life and pause to see farmers toiling in their rice fields using centuries of farming practices. Peddle your way through palm forests, across bridges, fields of water buffalo….
Take a short break in a local family at Cam Thanh Village before enjoying 1.5 hours ride on Traditional wooden Boat in the Water Coconut Palm Forest. Learn how to sail the basket boat and spend your time to catch fishes and “purple crabs” in the Canal.
Continue to ride our bike to Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village where a large variety of vegetable are produced for the local community. At the village, you will be shown the environmentally sustainable practices which the local villagers have used for centuries and is still being used extensively today.
Visit a local family and after a short, informative and fun cooking lesson, we sit down for a delicious lunch.
After lunch, we drive back to hotel, afternoon free at your leisure.
