RECOMMENDED EDUCATIONAL TRIPS TO VIETNAM
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT HANOI
Upon arrival, our shuttles bus & guide will be holding a sign with school name and welcome you at Noi Bai International airport, transfer to Hanoi Old Quarter for check in to your rooms. Overnight in Hanoi
DAY 2: HALONG BAY
Our guide will pick you up at hotel and start educational tours east to Halong Bay at 8.00AM, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Spend 24 hours on a traditional Junk Cruise in the amazing bay: a natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters. Arrive at the dock around noon and board your junk. Savor a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as we sail out into the mystical bay. In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands, including Dinh Huong and Ga Choi. Along the way visit one of the bay’s 3 largest caves (Thien Cung, Dau Go or Sung Sot). Stop at an island cove with a sheltered white-sand beach and take a dip in the warm waters of the Tonkin Gulf (weather permitting). Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters. Overnight on Cruise.
DAY 3: Halong Bay – HANOI
Rise up early and participate in Tai Chi [A form of Y0ga and martial arts] on the upper deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Halong. Have brunch on board the boat before returning to Halong pier to get back Hanoi.
DAY 4: FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY
After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up at airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
DAY 5: CU CHI TUNNEL EDUCATIONAL TOUR
Pick up at 8.00AM, you will take an educational tour in Ho Chi Minh City, south of vietnam and the sight-seeing will make you to visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the War Remnants Museum. Then, a half-day excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km, from Saigon to the Cambodian border, and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today, the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction, giving you a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam War must have been like. Return Ho Chi Minh late afternoon and free leisure in your own way.
DAY 6: EXCURSION TO DELTA OF MEKONG
Pick you up at hotel at 08.00. On arrival at My Tho, after visiting Vinh Trang pagoda, take a motor boat to enter My Tho city through Bao Dinh natural canal. Take a leisurely cruise on the Tien River to view the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant, then visit the coconut candy mill and take an amazing rowing boat trip along the small canal on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals. Meet at the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh City. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and you are guaranteed to take home your own private collection of beautiful memories.
DAY 7: DEPARTURE
Free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight back home. End of the educational tour in Vietnam
