Explore the countries of Southeast Asia

It’s possible to travel to Southeast of Asia at any time of year, but there are two distinct seasons to be aware of. December to April is the dry season with sunny days and very little rain. Early in the season the temperatures are comfortable and the humidity low, whilst in March it gets hotter and more humid. The rainy season, from May to October, is hot and humid with short, heavy showers normally in the afternoons. There are, of course, plenty of places that have a climate of their own, the highlands and coasts for example, so there is always good weather somewhere! New Year in each country can be very busy, but it is the perfect opportunity to interact with locals and observe traditions in action. Vietnam’s Tet is in January/February; Choul Chnam Thmey (Cambodia) and Pi Mai (Laos) fall in April.
